Book launch: 30 May 2018 24 May 2018

The new book by Antain Mac Lochlainn, Ó Bhéarla go Gaeilge, will be launched at 6.00pm, on Wednesday 30 May. The launch will take place in Foras na Gaeilge‘s new headquarters in Dublin city centre, 63–66 Amiens Street. All are welcome.

Ó Bhéarla go Gaeilge is an instructional guide to translation which brings the reader step by step through the translation process, from the most basic level of single words, to full sentences. The reader will grapple with the most common challenges faced in professional work, and the strategies used by professional translators to overcome these problems. Each unit includes comprehensive exercises on aspects of meaning, context and style.

Suitable for private study and for use on translation training courses.
