Dr. Regina Uí Chollatáin is from Letterkenny in Donegal. She completed an M.A. at the University of Ireland, Maynooth, where she finished her Ph.D. in 2002 with an IRCHSS scholarship. She obtained the National University of Ireland Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Irish Studies and Celtic Studies in 2003.

Aoife Valley

Aoife Valley grew up in Northern Ireland between the bogland shores of Lough Neagh and the rosa rugosa of Craigavon. She studied Fine Art in England and Dublin and spent many years working in Community Arts. Aoife has been based in the Donegal Gaeltacht since 2001.

Rhiannon Watson

Rhiannon Watson was born in 1977 in Dublin where she now lives with her four children. Rhiannon is heavily involved with Irish Medium Education and her sons are being raised through Irish. She was particularly interested in the Arts from a young age when she began writing fiction.

Máire Zepf

Máire’s first book, Tubaiste ar an Titanic (Cló Mhaigh Eo) was published in 2012. It was shortlisted for the Book of the Year that same year. Lá leis na Lochlannaigh (Cois Life, 2016) features the same two characters, Cormac and Brídín, and a new historical event.
