Conchúr Mag Eacháin

onchúr Mag Eacháin was born and raised in Armagh. He received his university education at Queen’s University, Belfast, where he did a B.A. and a M.A. in Irish and Celtic Studies. He received his Ph.D. from the same university in 2009. After a post-doctoral fellowship in Lárionad de Bhaldraithe do Léann na Gaeilge in the School of Modern Irish, Celtic Studies, Folklore of Ireland and Linguistics of University College, Dublin, he moved to Fiontar, DCU, where he is currently a research editor.

Tom Mac Intyre

Tom MacIntyre was born in Co. Cavan in 1931. Tom writes in English and in Irish. Before he had started writing full-time in 1965, he taught in Clongowes Wood College, in Michigan University and in Williams College, Masachusetts. He received his Master’s Degree in University College, Dublin.

Antain Mac Lochlainn

Antain Mac Lochlainn was born in Coleraine, Co. Derry in 1965. He has a B.A. and a Ph.D. in Irish Studies from The University of Ulster. He has worked for Foinse, Bord na Gaeilge and RTÉ. He is now the editor of the Irish-language resources website, www.aistear.ie.

Seán Mac Mathúna

Seán Mac Mathúna was born in Tralee, Co. Kerry. He attended St Brendan’s College, Killarney and University College, Cork. Short stories of his were regularly published in the Irish Times and the Irish Press in English, and in the magazine, Comhar, in Irish.
